‘The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes Vol. 4'

Two of the Avengers' most feared foes — the robot Ultron and the mischievous Norse god Loki — appear in the final DVD of the first season of “The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes.”

Marvel Comics' top-tier team of superheroes stars in “The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes,” which features Thor, Iron Man and Captain America, among others. “Earth's Mightiest Heroes” matches what the DC Comics universe accomplished with the Emmy-nominated “Justice League” — an action-packed show that is appealing to kids, but is perfectly watchable for adult fans of these characters.

In the fourth volume, Iron Man and Thor are forced to work together to stop an artifact unleashing eternal winter in “Casket of Ancient Winters.” Eric Loomis brings a Robert Downey Jr.-esque flair to playboy Tony Stark, aka technological genius Iron Man. Rick Wasserman (“24”) plays the Norse god of thunder, Thor.
