Dwyane Wade dropped by Sunday night and brought down the Thunder.

Wade had 32 points and 10 assists in Miami’s 104-94 victory before a sellout crowd of 19,136 inside the Ford Center.

With Thunder defenders scrambling to keep a hand in his face, Wade still shot 14-of-28 from the field.

Sure didn’t seem like he missed half his shots.

Afterward, Thunder coach Scott Brooks described his team’s effort as "not bad” and "the effort could have been better, no doubt.”

Brooks also explained what the Thunder experienced was the harsh reality of the spectacular Wade.

When Wade is hitting shots, "He throws a lot of stuff at you that you really can’t defend ... You’re basically at his mercy.”

Mercy me.

There’s nothing the Thunder can do about Sunday night, but there is something the Thunder can do about its next four games.

It can win them all.

There is a friendly rhythm to the Thunder’s upcoming schedule.

The next four opponents have losing records, and there are no back-to-back nights.

The Thunder makes its first West Coast swing of the season this week and faces two teams of similar ilk in 12-29 Golden State and the 9-30 Clippers.

The Thunder returns next week to host 19-22 New Jersey, a team it recently lost to in overtime in Jersey, followed by 11-28 Memphis.

That’s a workable schedule for a team that now appears to be workable.
