Eagle fights its way back to the wild

BIXBY -- Once again, a majestic bald eagle is soaring through the sky.
The eagle, which recently had been rehabilitated at a nearby sanctuary after being injured, had an encounter with another eagle shortly after being freed, the Bixby Bulletin reported.

After surviving that skirmish, the formerly injured bird again took to the air and headed off for a new home, those involved in its release said.
The battle between the two birds was described in detail, including how they used their large talons to protect and to attack.
