Early voting for May 14 elections starts Friday

Voters in Deer Creek and Crooked Oak school districts to decide school bond issues and Spencer residents will pick city council representatives at statewide elections next week. Early voting runs 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and Monday at county election board offices.

Early voting starts Friday at county election boards across the state for Tuesday's election, which includes multimillion dollar construction bond issues in the Deer Creek and Crooked Oak school districts.

Spencer residents will choose three city council representatives and Moore residents will consider a franchise renewal agreement with Oklahoma Gas and Electric Co.

Other key elections across the state include countywide sales tax propositions in Caddo and Grady counties, a county commissioner race in Carter County and a slew of school and municipal bond issues.

Early voting will run 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and Monday at county election board offices.

Regular precinct polling stations will be open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday.
