Two earthquakes reported near Stillwater on Monday

The two quakes both were east of Stillwater.

Two earthquakes shook central Oklahoma within a 36-minute span Monday morning, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

The first, a 3.4-magnitude earthquake, was reported at 9:11 a.m. with an epicenter seven miles east of Stillwater. The second, a 3.0-magnitude earthquake, was reported at 9:47 a.m. with an epicenter eight miles east of Stillwater.

There were no immediate reports of damage or injuries.
