— The Easter Bunny hopped into The Children's Center this week to visit patients with complex medical and physical disabilities.

The visit marks the seventh year The Children's Center has worked with the Oklahoma County Sheriff's Department to bring the Easter Bunny to the hospital.

The partnership was created through The Easter Bunny Foundation, a nonprofit organization with a mission to provide a personal visit and toy from the Easter Bunny to patients in children's hospitals and pediatric wards across the United States.

More than 90 sheriff's offices were expected to visit an estimated 13,000 patients across the country this week as part of the partnership. Melissa Richey is communications and media coordinator for The Children's Center.
