“We're going to have a great time getting to know each other and making plans for the upcoming year,” said Monica Wilhoite, Edmond 4-H Club volunteer leader.

Oklahoma 4-H has since 1909 helped youth of all ages reach their potential through hands-on learning in 4-H clubs, school enrichment programs and special interest events. The 4-H program in Oklahoma reaches about 200,000 youth every year.

“The Edmond 4-H Club has a strong tradition in our community and we want to get back to being involved in what's going on in our town this year,” Wilhoite said. “We hope to have a lot of fun while we do it.”

The picnic begins at 6:30 p.m. at the tables near the playground closest to the pond.
