Golf club hosts youth lessons

KickingBird Golf Club is starting a program for children ages 4 to 7 who want to learn how to play golf.

“Our community is comprised of active families and we want to bring the game of golf into their lives whether they have a golf background or are just being introduced,” said Brian Soerensen, KickingBird Golf Club professional.

Four sessions will be available on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting in March. The cost is $70 per child.

Another program designed for the beginning golfer is the Get Golf Ready Program. The five-session program teaches the basics of golf along with a guided opportunity to put skills into action in a casual, friendly setting.

The cost is $99. For more information, call 341-5350.
