— Concerts, food, fine art booths and inflatables are among the offerings for this weekend's Downtown Edmond Arts Festival.

The Downtown Edmond Business Association hosts the event, and this year it will benefit the nonprofit organization Angels Foster Family Network OKC.

Featured will be 120 artists from throughout the United States, offering watercolors, pottery, photography and more during the 34th annual festival, which opens Friday morning and concludes Sunday afternoon.

Randy Napier, of North Dakota, will be there with a photography booth. His exhibit includes a photo of a male arctic wolf set between two other photographs taken in Montana.

“I was about 10 to 11 feet away from this wolf,” Napier said. “He lived with an individual in Montana, but was still very much a wolf.”

Napier will be selling the set along with other limited-edition photography.

Festival organizers said new this year are Chalk the Walk and two evening concerts.

Chalk time starts at 10 a.m. Saturday, with judging at 1 p.m. Artwork will be judged and prizes awarded to winners in several age divisions.

Son del barrio will perform from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at Festival Market Place, and Zero2Sixty will be in concert from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday.

School bands will perform throughout the day Friday; youth and gospel bands and choruses will perform Saturday; and jazz bands will perform Sunday.

Culinary arts and Oklahoma wineries also will be represented.

No animals or coolers are allowed at the festival.
