— Two new teachers will be joining the Fine Arts Institute of Edmond this spring.

Arni Anderson, a watercolor artist, and Michelle Wiser, who recently moved from Chicago, will be on hand for spring classes that run from April 9 through May 19.

Anderson will be teaching watercolor adventures for adults and teens on Tuesday evenings and a children's class on Tuesday afternoons.

Wiser will teach youth portrait studio for second graders and older on Wednesdays and oil painting studio for adults and teens on Monday mornings.

“When people ask what makes the Fine Arts Institute special, an easy answer is our professionals, educated and caring faculty,” said Mitzi Hancuff, executive director. “Some of them have been with the (institute) since it was founded over 27 years ago.

“Others were hired because of their passion for art and wonderful ability to teach and motivate their students.”

Children and adults can sign up or get a class schedule at www.edmondfinearts.com. For more information, call 340-4481.
