Senior center honors volunteer
EDMOND — Leslie Orvis has been named the Edmond Senior Center 's volunteer of the quarter. Orvis is a retired music educator who taught vocal music for 30 years at Sequoyah Middle School. She received Edmond Site Teacher of the Year in 2004 and Oklahoma Music Educators' Association Director of Distinction in 2006.
