Edmond church selects new senior pastor
EDMOND — A prominent local congregation has chosen a new senior pastor.
The Rev. James Joshua “Josh” Smith, son of longtime Southern Baptist Convention evangelist Bailey Smith , was selected as senior pastor of First Baptist Church of Edmond on Sunday, church leaders said.
Smith, 37, will take the post formerly held by the Rev. Richard Alan Day , who died in a motorcycle accident in February....
