Edmond church taking several necessary steps to leave denomination
EDMOND — An Edmond church is splitting from the nation's largest Lutheran denomination.
Joe Palmer , president of the congregation and church council at Peace Lutheran Church, 2600 E Danforth Road, said if all goes according to plan, the church's departure from the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America will be official after a congregational vote May 15.
