Amy Fine says she graduated from Missouri Southern University on Saturday and moved with husband Derek to the Oklahoma City suburb the same day. She told a local television station that there was no particular reason for the immediate move — that she was “just ready.”

She says the apartment complex where the couple lived in Joplin was destroyed.

Derek Fine said he felt rushed by the Saturday move and wanted to stay — but is now glad he listened to his wife.
