EDMOND — Children ages 4 through 7 can learn about all kinds of safety during a two-day Children's Safety Challenge that will be offered twice by the Edmond Fire Department.
Sessions are from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. June 11 and 12 and from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. June 13 and 14. A safety challenge course will be held June 16 at the Children's Safety Village.
Classes will be at the Fire Administration Building, 5300 E Covell Road.
Students will wear child-size firefighter suits during the class, maneuver through an obstacle course and answer safety questions at each station. Parents are invited to watch.
Enrollment is $20 and includes a T-shirt and snacks.
