Edmond hosts candlelight vigil for mentally ill

A candlelight vigil was held in Edmond's E.C. Hafer Park to observe Mental Illness Awareness Week.

A candlelight vigil to send a message of hope and recovery for people who live with mental illness was held in Edmond's E.C. Hafer Park.

The Sunday vigil during Mental Illness Awareness Week honored victim's families, friends and the memory of those lives lost to mental illness.

Madinah Hazim-Adams and Marcus Jones gave testimonials along with Moe Williams performing “Amazing Grace.” Miss Brown To You also performed.
