Edmond is looking for Christmas parade participants

The annual Christmas parade has been moved to Saturday evening this year. Edmond Electric is taking applications for participants in the holiday parade.

Applications are being taken for the annual Christmas Parade of Lights scheduled this year for Dec. 8.

City officials have moved this year's parade, sponsored by Edmond Electric, from a weekday to Saturday evening.

Parade officials are looking for organizations, groups and businesses to participate in the annual holiday parade.

“We've had many exciting entries over the past couple of years and look forward to see what's in store for the holiday event,” said Michelle Trimberger, Edmond Electric program coordinator.

Deadline for applications is Nov. 30. Applications are available at www.edmondok.com or by calling 216-7671.
