Butterfield is an assistant professor of applied flute, flute choir, chamber music and woodwind methods.

Faculty members David Forbat, Samuel Magrill and Ralph Morris will perform Martinu’s "First Sonata,” the sonata "Undine” by Reinecke, "Odyssey Etude” by Magrill and a trio for flute, viola and piano by Maurice Durufle.

"The UCO Faculty Artist Series is a wonderful event because it allows UCO students and the city of Edmond an opportunity to hear wonderful music as well as the chance to personally meet and talk with the individuals who were just up on the stage performing,” Butterfield said.

Tickets are $10 and are available at the door.

For more information about the Faculty Artist Series, call the UCO School of Music at 974-5004.

Shalena Eaton is a UCO College of Arts, Media & Design marketing and communications assistant.
