An exhibit that opens Saturday at the Edmond Library contains quilts and memorabilia brought in the Land Run.

The exhibit also, in quilted scrapbook form, showcases the history of Oklahoma's first libraries, schools and churches, founding families, period clothing and photos of '89ers and pioneers.

The Buckboard Quilts exhibit is based on Edmond's 1905 Cookbook. The exhibit runs daily through September.
