Edmond Library quilt exhibit depicts pioneer era

EDMOND — An exhibit that opens Saturday at the Edmond Library contains quilts and memorabilia brought in the Land Run.

The exhibit runs daily through September and contains quilts and memorabilia brought in the Land Run, along with a quilted scrapbook presentation of the history of Oklahoma’s first libraries, schools and churches, founding families, period clothing, and photos of ’89ers and pioneers. The exhibit also, in quilted scrapbook form, showcases the history of Oklahoma's first libraries, schools and churches, founding families, period clothing and photos of '89ers and pioneers.
