Edmond Memorial product and two-time Class 6A state champion Taylor Moore made the quick jump to success at the next level.

The Arkansas golfer was named the Southeastern Conference’s Freshman of the Year on Wednesday.

Moore had four top-25 finishes in six tournaments and finished under par in two events. He had two top-10 finishes and a season stroke average of 73.87.

He was 27th recently at the SEC Tournament, thanks to a strong finish, playing the course in 2-under-par over the final 36 holes.
