The mother is asking for a monetary judgment in excess of $75,001, according to the lawsuit filed in Oklahoma County District Court.

Associate Superintendent Brenda Lyons said the lawsuit has been discussed by school board members in an executive session, but there will be no public comment by the board or school district.

Angela Smith, the mother's attorney, did not return calls or an e-mail from The Oklahoman.
