Edmond museum has exhibit about the outdoors

The Edmond Historical Society and Museum is hosting the exhibit "The Great Outdoors,” beginning Tuesday and running through Oct. 18.

Visitors will experience the history of hunting, fishing and camping in central Oklahoma.

The exhibit offers a look at the various methods used to capture Oklahoma wildlife.

Visitors travel through the time of early American Indians to modern-day gamesmen.

The Edmond Historical Society and Museum is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, and 1 to 4 p.m. Saturdays. Admission is free.
