With two tournaments left in the high school season, the Edmond North boys are eyeing their 10th consecutive state tournament title.

Players like Hayden Wood, Austin Eckroat and the rest of the Huskies have been playing well down the stretch.

But even more interesting has been the play of some of the golfers who helped win some of the previous nine state titles.

Last Sunday, Robert Streb, a 2005 Edmond North grad, tied for second at the PGA Tour’s Zurich Open in New Orleans, while 2007 grad Kevin Tway was 38th.

A week earlier, 2008 grad Will Kropp defeated Angel Cabrera by one stroke to win on the PGALatinoamerica’s Abierto OSDE del Centro.

And up at Wichita State, 2009 Husky grad Chandler Rusk and 2011 grad Alec Heinen helped the Shockers to a conference title.
