Members of the Redeemed Christian Church of God Kingdom Chapel are asking planning commissioners for permission to remodel a building at 307 E Danforth Road.

Members of the Edmond Planning Commission will consider the request at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at 20 S Littler Ave.

Church members want to rent a 2,302-square-foot space in the office building on the north side of Danforth, east of a convenience store and south of the Timber Ridge housing addition.

The church would be in the northwest corner of the office building.

Seating in the church would be for about 15 people. The parking lot has 51 spaces, which city staff members think is enough because nearby offices will not be open when church is being held.

The office building sits on 1.59 acres. In addition to the rented 2,302 square feet, the church would have use of common facilities such as driveways, parking and landscaping.
