Edmond Public Schools Foundation elects new officers, trustees

The Edmond Public Schools Foundation elected President Bryan Evans and 17 new trustees to help raise money for classrooms and students.

— The Edmond Public Schools Foundation voted on a new slate of officers and the addition of 17 trustees during its recent annual membership meeting.

Among the new officers is foundation President Bryan Evans, of Evans and Davis Attorneys.

Evans said he is excited about the new additions to the foundation and thinks it will help to get more funding for teacher grants and financial support to classrooms and students.

“The Edmond Public Schools Foundation will continue to have a tremendous impact on the public school system in our community in the 2012-2013 academic year,” Evans said. “We are pleased to welcome new business and community leaders as new trustees.”

Last year the foundation provided more than 70 teacher grants, totaling $90,000, and $10,000 in scholarships to Edmond students.

Besides Evans, other new officers are Brian Blundell of BancFirst, treasurer; and Robyn Miller of Oklahoma Christian University, secretary.

New trustees are Myron Pope, University of Central Oklahoma; David Tew, Mercy Health System; Tonya Coffman, Church Brown & Associates; Glen Maynard, Devon Energy Corp.; Steve Barker, Oklahoma Department of Commerce; Steve Replogle, Bank of Oklahoma; Adam Bahner, Keating & Associates Inc; Jill Castilla, Citizens Bank of Edmond; Mark Nash, Pelco Products; Ashleigh Clark, city of Edmond; Marcus Crawford, Crawford Family Funeral Services; Sharon Dillard, OU Medical Center Edmond; Tim Priebe, T&S Web Design; Chris Hayes, Integris Health Clinics; Rory Laisle, Oklahoma Fidelity Bank; Patrick Murnan, Northwestern Mutual Financial Network; Brian Peterson, Spirit Bank; Charlie Price, Price Lang Consulting; Adrianne Selvidge, Lindstrom Technology; Brian Washa, John Hancock Financial; Drew Duke, University of Central Oklahoma; Josh Spears, Spears Chiropractic; Susan Adams, Ronald McDonald House of Oklahoma City; and Beverly Chaumont, Chaumont Insurance.
