Why are you complaining, Edmond? After all, Edmond appears to be "ground zero" for hating the government. Or is it that you just don't like the guy with the Arab-African sounding name who is at the head of it? Which of you people put your six year old kid out there to carry signs saying "Nobama" and "Stop Socialism"? OF COURSE we need to help seniors and others who need help with food, shelter, or other basics. Volunteerism is great, but it will never be enough. Now, government help IS socialistic. So are the police and firefighters. These things are not evil. Turn off those screamers on you radio and TV and go help. Your blood pressure will go down.
