Edmond residents will vote on $80 million school bond package Tuesday
Voters in the Edmond School District can vote on an $80 million school bond issue Tuesday. Two propositions will be on the ballot.
Voters have typically shown strong support for the school district's bond packages.
“Beginning in September of 1959, Edmond Public Schools voters have approved 54 consecutive bond issues — continuous support for more than half a century,” Goin said.
Registered voters, who live within Edmond school district boundaries, including those who live outside the city limits of Edmond, qualify to vote.
A 60 percent vote is needed for approval.
Voters can cast their ballot from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday at their local polling places. To find a polling place near you, go to www.elections.ok.gov.
