Edmond Santa Fe quarterback Justice Hansen is still recovering from an ankle injury suffered midway through the season and is not expected participate in Thursday’s Under Armour All-American Game at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Fla.

Hansen, who has verbally committed to Oklahoma and is expected to enroll at the university for the spring, suffered a high ankle sprain in October and did not return the rest of the season.

Edmond Santa Fe coach Lance Manning said Hansen’s ankle is just not quite ready.

Hansen totaled 20 touchdowns — 12 on the ground — in parts of six games this season. He also rushed for 434 yards and passes for 966.

In his three-year career at Santa Fe, he passed for 6,645 yards and 69 touchdowns, completing 56 percent of his passes. On the ground, he totaled 1,741 yards and 34 touchdowns.

Norman North quarterback David Cornwell, an Alabama commitment, is also on the roster for the game, but his season also ended early with knee injury that required surgery.

In five games, Cornwell passed for 1,445 yards and 12 touchdowns while completing 61 percent of his passes.
