Edmond school beating case sentencing delayed again
Sentencing for a former Edmond Memorial High School student who beat another student unconscious has been delayed for a second time.
Oklahoma County District Judge Jerry Bass said Friday he wants to explore the possibility of community sentencing for Shakil Fields , 19, who pleaded guilty in August to assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and intimidating a witness.
