An elementary school bus driver was arrested Wednesday morning following accusations he inappropriately touched an 8-year-old boy, the Oklahoma County sheriff’s office reported.

Scott Keith Jepson, 32, of Logan County, was arrested on multiple complaints of lewd acts with a child and possessing and distributing child pornography. He is a bus driver for Edmond Public Schools, authorities said.

Jepson is accused of committing lewd acts against an 8-year-old boy. The boy was a family acquaintance who used to live near Jepson, according to an affidavit. The boy did not attend school in the Edmond district, authorities said.

The boy’s mother told investigators the boy reported Jepson touched him inappropriately at the boy’s home in Luther, according to the affidavit.

On July 25, a warrant was served at Jepson’s residence to seize his cellphone. Explicit photos of children were recovered on his phone through an email account, and he emailed photos to other individuals, according to the affidavit.

Because of Jepson’s position as a bus driver, investigators think there is a high possibility of other victims, sheriff’s office spokesman Lt. Charles Avery said.

Edmond schools spokeswoman Susan Parks-Schlepp said Jepson has been employed since 2006, and drove bus No. 82. That bus takes students to six schools: John Ross, Ida Freeman and Sunset elementary schools; Cheyenne and Summit middle schools; and Edmond North High School.
