— Edmond will hold an open house Thursday to discuss the city's bicycle master plan.

Officials are working on a plan that will include making Edmond a bicycle-friendly city, said Jan Ramseryer Fees, city planner.

The plan will identify a network of connected bicycle facilities that will serve all areas of the city, recommend policies and facility design practices to enhance the comfort and safety of bicyclists.

It also will prioritize recommended infrastructure improvements and provide implementation strategies.

The open house will be from 6 to 8 p.m. in room 107 at Edmond Downtown Community Center, 28 E Main.

At 7 p.m., a presentation will provide an overview of the planning process and allow participants to provide input.
