Utility customer service, where Edmond Electric, city water and trash collection bills are paid, will move over the weekend in an effort not to disrupt service, said Ross VanderHamm, finance director and city clerk.

Bills can be paid through Friday at the administration building, 100 E First St., and at the drive-thru windows at that location.

Customers on Monday will begin to pay their bills at 7 N Broadway, the new home of the treasurer's office, financial services, purchasing, human resources and utility customer service.

The administration building is being demolished to make room for the new public safety center that will include police headquarters, 911 communications and emergency management operations.

Moving for some of the departments could be on Friday if carpet installation is complete, VanderHamm said.
