EDMOND — Oklahoma summer crops are dwindling down, but Edmond's Farmers Market won't be closing until Oct. 27.
“Some of the crops are dying because of the drought,” said Diane Self, Edmond Parks and Recreation program director. “Some of them started earlier and they have held on stronger and longer.
“The selection is getting smaller. Some of the farmers are getting close to being done.”
Edmond Farmers Market is open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays. The market is in Festival Market Place, just south of First Street and west of Broadway.
