Edmond's LibertyFest celebration continued with KiteFest on Saturday and Sunday at Mitch Park. LibertyFest wraps up Wednesday with Independence Day events.

— The city's annual LibertyFest celebration continued over the weekend as visitors took part in KiteFest on Saturday and Sunday at Mitch Park.

The event included kite-flying demonstrations and a make-your-own-kite station for children.

LibertyFest wraps up Wednesday with these Independence Day events:

Fourth of July Parade: 9 a.m., downtown.

ParkFest: 6:30 to 10 p.m., University of Central Oklahoma, 100 N University Drive.

Fireworks: 10 p.m., UCO.
