Edmond's library expands offerings for kids, adults

The Edmond Library averages 11 story sessions for kids every week.

“We thought it was time to update with some brighter and more comfortable chairs,” Kellogg said. “The old chairs had been used up, and seating is always at a premium at this library.”

There are plenty of offerings for adults, too. The library hosts several book clubs including one for seniors and one for history buffs. A 55 and older coffee club meets Wednesday mornings to discuss books over a cup of a coffee.

“We want to offer as many things as we can to as many age groups as we can,” Kellogg said.

“We want to be a hopping place.”
