The National Weather Service has designated the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond a “StormReady University.” The designation shows the college has established severe weather preparedness procedures.

The National Weather Service has designated the University of Central Oklahoma a “StormReady University” for its established severe weather preparedness procedures.

StormReady is a nationwide community preparedness program that encourages communities to proactively manage hazardous weather operations using clear-cut guidelines from the National Weather Service.
