Tribe establishes scholarship

The Chickasaw Nation has created a new scholarship program at the Oklahoma City University Meinders School of Business to fund up to five scholarships per year as part of the Chickasaw Nation Native American Business Scholars Academy. The program will provide full tuition scholarships to Chickasaw Nation undergraduate students studying business or software engineering. Scholarship recipients will take part in innovative, highly engaging academic experiences specific to the business scholars academy including seminars and workshops focusing on American Indian business issues, academic internships and mentorships, networking opportunities and community service activities.
