Three men will be inducted into the Oklahoma Educators Hall of Fame tonight, including one posthumously.

John E. Clinton, Paul D. Hurst and William D. "Bill” Pennington were selected by the Hall of Fame's board of directors based on nominations.

They will be honored at 6 p.m. at the Gaylord University Center at Oklahoma Christian University.

John E. Clinton
Current position: Dean of the College of Arts, Media and Design at the University of Central Oklahoma.

Previous positions: Oklahoma Center for Arts Education executive director; Oklahoma A+ Schools executive director; Norman Public Schools director of fine arts; Norman High orchestra conductor.

Paul D. Hurst
Current position: Superintendent of Putnam City Public Schools.

Previous positions: Tahlequah Public Schools superintendent; Midwest City-Del City Public Schools administrator and coach.

William D. "Bill” Pennington
Most recent position: Was Murray State College president in Tishomingo. He died in a car accident in October.

Previous positions: Dean of Northwestern Oklahoma State University in Enid dean of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences at Northwestern in Alva and director of student services for the University Center at Tulsa.
