Egocentricity rules

I was a little confused and insulted by Bill Clinton's speech and the Democratic National Convention. He stated we're all better off after 3 1/2 years of Barack Obama's presidency. In those 3 1/2 years our national debt almost doubled, we have the highest unemployment in more than 55 years, the U.S. international credit rating is at its lowest in over 75 years and Obama fully embraces a version of infanticide. How does this make us better off?

I suggest Clinton and others unable to observe reality read Hans Christian Andersen's 1837 children's story, “The Emperor's New Clothes.” Andersen's emperor also rejected reality in favor of egocentricity.
