Eight people die in two separate accidents on Oklahoma roads

A crash Saturday in Pottawatomie County left four people dead, a head-on crash Thursday morning in Washita County killed one, and a head-on crash in Rogers County killed three, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.

Eight people were killed in crashes on Oklahoma roads, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.

Kenneth Ransom Myers, 79 and Janelle Myers, 78, of Fort Worth, Texas; Laurie Ann Miller, 36, and Macie Grace Lomber, 2, of Macomb

Four people died in a collision between a pickup and a recreational vehicle Saturday about 10:20 a.m. on U.S. 177 two miles north of State Highway 59 in Pottawatomie County, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol said. In the recreational vehicle, Kenneth and Janelle Myers died from smoke inhalation at the scene. In the pickup, Laurie Ann Miller died due to internal injuries and Macie Grace Lomber died from head trauma. The cause of the accident remains under investigation, troopers said. Seat belts and child restraint were being used at the time of the accident, troopers said.

Allen Cain, 18, Ealky

Two pickups collided, killing one man, about 7:30 a.m. Thursday a half mile east of Colony in Washita County, the highway patrol said. A pickup driven by Cain was traveling east on County Road 115 left of the centerline when a pickup driven westbound by Stephen Morales' swerved to try and avoid it. The pickups collided head on. Morales was taken to Weatherford Hospital, where he was treated and released, troopers said. Cain was pronounced dead at the scene. Neither man wore a seat belt, troopers said.
