El Reno's temperature dipped to 12.3 degrees at 4:40 a.m., according to the Oklahoma Mesonet

Before returning to our regularly scheduled autumn temperatures this week, the weather decided to take a big dip into wintry temperatures – 12.3 degrees at the Oklahoma Mesonet  weather network station at El Reno at 4:40 a.m.

By 8 a.m., El Reno was at 25 degrees.

At Will Rogers World Airport, Oklahoma City’s official station, the temperature at 6:07 a.m. showed 19 degrees, according to the National Weather Service, Norman Forecast Office.

The high today for Oklahoma City is expected to be 51 degrees, while Sunday’s high is expected to reach 73, according to the National Weather Service.
