Eleven pounds of meth found in car during Oklahoma City traffic stop
Police pulled over a car in southwest Oklahoma City for a traffic stop and found 11 pounds of meth in a cardboard box in the car. Two California men were arrested on complaints of aggravated trafficking of controlled and dangerous substance.
Two California men were arrested after an Oklahoma City police officer found 11 pounds of crystal meth in their car, police reported Tuesday.
An officer pulled over a car about 3:20 p.m. Sunday at Interstate 40 and S Council Road for a traffic violation. Suspicious circumstances led the officer to search the car and he found the meth in a cardboard box, according to the incident report.

Juan Carlos Montano, 27, of South Gate, Calif., and Oscar Edel Melendrez, 28, of Cudahy, Calif., were arrested on complaints of aggravated trafficking of controlled and dangerous substance.
Montano and Melendrez were booked into the Oklahoma County jail with bail set at $25,000 each.
