Elk Valley Brewing approved for first labels

It’s the “now-this-is-for-real” moment that so many fledgling brewers hope to see: Having your first beer labels approved for sale by federal regulators.

You can now add Elk Valley Brewing Co. to the list of Oklahoma brewers who have seen just such a moment.

Late last week, Elk Valley received approval for a pair of labels:

You should expect to see the beer in stores within a few months. In the meantime, Elk Valley brewmaster John Elkins will be pouring his beer at the fourth annual Oklahoma Craft Beer Festival on Saturday at TapWerks.
