The few companies that still make a profit will soon face higher taxes to pay for bigger government. Those companies can“pay their fair share” by giving all of this year's profits at year end to their own employees. This results in each company doing its share to raise folks out of poverty in a most efficient way by avoiding payment to a government middleman to raise other folks out of poverty. Workers will work harder in the future to get more bonuses and achieve greater success. Growing companies could hire more workers from the pool of unemployed government middlemen.
