El Reno’s Justin Brown and Carl Albert’s Trenton Ball both recently committed to Emporia (Kan.) State, bringing the total of local standouts to commit to four in recent days.
Brown did a little bit of everything for the Indians, playing receiver, running back and defensive back. El Reno coach Taylor Schwerdtfeger said Emporia State has Brown recruited as a receiver, but he could move to safety.
Ball, a 6-foot-6, 222-pound tight end, caught 14 passes for 202 yards and four touchdowns last season. He announced his commitment via Twitter.

Brown and Ball join Guthrie’s Kai Callins and Kingfisher’s Landon Nault as commitments. The Hornets had 14 players from Oklahoma on their roster last season.
