John William English and Margaret (Maggie) Lee Pierce were united in marriage June 22, 2013. The Bride is the daughter of Mark Hamilton and Lisa Davis Pierce of Nichols Hills. She is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma and teaches 4th grade at Will Rogers Elementary School in Edmond.

The Groom is the son of Bill J. English of Rush Springs, Okla. and Linda English Weeks of Norman. He is the grandson of Patty Lawson, Mr. and Mrs. C.L. Wallace, and Ada Mae English. He is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma and is a sales representative for Agility Medical Group in Oklahoma City.

Officiating the ceremony was the Reverend Patrick Bright, the Reverend Dale Petley, and the Reverend John Marlin. The Bride was given in marriage by her parents. Maid of Honor was Bess Fuller. Best Man was Matt Carter. Bridesmaids were Kelly Johnson, Randi McLain, Keelie Montague, Ashley McCubbin, Evan Barnes, Leslie Stone, Katie McGuire, Amanda Blackman, and Marissa Camp. Groomsmen were Jordan Landreth, Mark H. Pierce II, Matthew Pierce, Brian Smith, Spencer Simon, Ricky Pourchot, Andrew Edwards, Bobby Spain, and Sean Cates. Members of the House Party included Jordanna Sutton, Emily O’Shaughnessy, Sarah Emery, and Janell Fryer. Reader was Jaclyn Dennis. Serving as Flower Girl was Mason Reddell, and Ring Bearer was Oliver Olney. Ushers included Jon Godsy, Michael Gray, Patrick Fields, Jordan Mitchell, and Dane Covey.

For her wedding the Bride chose a beautiful gown by designer Elizabeth Fillmore. The gown was unique from the neckline to the color of the gown to the fabric that was used. The "Baroque" pattern of the fabric was reminiscent of lace but was laser cut satin giving the gown a unique twist. The modified sweetheart neckline was V-shape and the laser cut satin was scalloped, adding a touch of softness. The trumpet shaped gown had a long train that gave the dress a grand appearance. To complete her bridal look, Maggie chose a beautiful Alencon lace veil. The veil added an element of tradition while still coordinating beautifully with the gown.
