Enid man, 70, found dead in Kaw Lake

Billy Joe Ging, 70, was found dead in Kaw Lake on Friday after his boat capsized. The state medical examiner has not determined a cause of death.

Enid man found dead in Kaw Lake

An Enid man was found dead in Kaw Lake on Friday after his boat capsized, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.

Billy Joe Ging, 70, was found in the lake after his boat capsized near Bear Creek Cove campground, troopers said.

Ging was found dead in five feet of water. He was on his way to tow a relative's boat when the accident occurred.

A personal flotation vest was wrapped around his right arm, troopers said.
