An Enid man was arrested Friday, accused of possessing and distributing child pornography.
Tim Hickenbottom, 39, was arrested Friday afternoon and booked into Garfield County jail, where he was being held without bail Saturday afternoon.
He is accused of possession of child pornography, distribution of child pornography and violation of the Oklahoma Computer Crimes Act.
During an undercover online investigation, Enid police and a state Bureau of Narcotics agent traced a user known to be sharing child porn to an address in Enid. While serving a search warrant, police learned that Hickenbottom used the Internet at that address, but lived elsewhere.
Hickenbottom turned his computer over to police and they found evidence of child pornography on the computer, police reported. Hickenbottom admitted he had downloaded child pornography and said he was aware it was on his computer, police said.
