A local newspaper reports that the cast-iron bell went missing in late November at the New Hope United Methodist Church. Police say the bell is 3 feet tall and 3 feet in diameter and was sitting in the northwest part of the church's parking lot.

Authorities say the bell is worth about $10,000.
